Welcome To Drew Valley
We are the Drew Valley Civic Association - a group of your neighbors committeed to mutual concerns and determined to foster a sense of community. Formed in 1994, much of the energy of the DVCA is focused on representing the interests of the neighborhood in matters of zoning, development, traffic, safety, and other issues of public concern. This aspect of the organization also includes maintaining contact and relationships with our elected officials and government agencies.
The DVCA also looks inward as we seek to foster a sense of community through the establishment of service projects, social events, and lines of communication that enhance our neighborhood, ourselves, and our relationships with one another. Our quarterly membership meetings and newsletter publication allow us the opportunity to stay informed on the issues that are common to most of us and now that we are joined with adjoining communities on this portal we can be even more connected with other concerned and active neighborhoods.
Our social events such as block and pool parties, neighborhood yard sales, and holiday caroling let us celebrate the fun of being together and pride in our neighborhood. Projects such as the Yard of the Month award, Holiday Mailbox Decorating Contest, and planting projects in our flood plain lots generate pride both in the improved appearance of our area and in the sense of accomplishment that results.
